Understanding the Scoring System in Jump Up
Jump Up rewards you based on your players’ real-life performance. Each time a player scores a basket, assists, rebounds, or steals, they contribute points to your total.
1. Points Scored (Points Scored):
- 1 point for each 2-point field goal made by a player.
- 2 points for each 3-point field goal made by a player.
2. Rebounds:
- 1 point for each offensive rebound.
- 1 point for each defensive rebound.
3. Assists:
- 2 points for each assist that leads to a made basket.
4. Steals:
- 3 points for each steal made by a player.
5. Blocks:
- 3 points for each block made by a player.
6. Turnovers:
- -1 point for each turnover committed by a player.
7. Fouls:
- -1 point for each foul committed by a player.
Additional Scoring Factors:
8. Efficiency Rating:
- +1 point for any positive contribution to the player’s overall efficiency (except for fouls and turnovers).
- -1 point for missed free throws or missed mid-range shots.
9. Clutch Plays:
- 5 points for key moments where a player makes a game-winning shot or delivers a crucial assist in the final moments of a match.
